Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has given a major update ahead of the show’s third season.

The young farmer found fame helping former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson turn to agriculture in the popular Prime Video series.

He had previously argued that he or another farm worker needed to live on the site to care for the animals and he has now won permission from the council to live in a caravan on his own land.

The 26-year-old currently has a 38 ft caravan which is being used as an office, but this already has a bathroom outside.

Kaleb had initially applied for retroactive planning permission from West Oxfordshire District Council last summer and the application was granted on Thursday, February 15.

Abby Fettes, development manager at West Oxfordshire District Council, said: “The applicant is advised that the recommendation to support this mobile home was on balance.

“The occupation of the mobile home shall be limited to a person solely or mainly working, or last working, in the locality in pastoral agriculture, or a widow or widower of such a person, and to any resident dependants.”

This application will last for a total of two years while Kaleb establishes his farming business on the land.

Kaleb and Jeremey will return to our screens with the latest from Diddly Squat on Friday, May 3 as season three of Clarkson’s Farm debuts on Prime Video.
